Kay Rhan

Kay Rhan brings a thoughtful blend of therapeutic massage, deep tissue bodywork, sports massage, and energy work to every session at Gateway Cottage Wellness Center in Sedona. Her work focuses on restoring balance in the body while creating calm in the mind. Each treatment draws from multiple techniques, including Swedish massage, connective tissue work, and trigger point therapy, to release long held tension and support the body’s natural healing response.

Kay’s path into massage therapy began with her own personal healing journey. In 2014 she received a diagnosis of PRSD. Her body felt restricted by pain and limited movement. At the same time she faced anxiety, depression, and a struggle with weight that left her feeling disconnected from her health. Instead of accepting those limitations, Kay committed to rebuilding her life through movement, nutrition, medical care, and bodywork. Massage became one of the most meaningful tools in her recovery.

That experience shaped the therapist she is today. Kay understands what chronic pain and emotional stress feel like inside the body. Her sessions focus on creating lasting change rather than temporary relief. She works slowly and intentionally through muscle layers and connective tissue, using trigger point therapy and therapeutic massage to release patterns of tension that develop through injury, stress, or repetitive movement.

Kay graduated from the Sedona School of Massage in 2023 and quickly developed a reputation for compassionate and focused care. She has worked with a wide range of clients and has spent meaningful time supporting disabled veterans seeking pain relief, improved mobility, and relaxation. Her sessions combine physical therapy inspired bodywork with intuitive energy awareness, allowing clients to feel both physically restored and mentally grounded.
